Job summary

R&D Partners in ROI, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements, optimize designs, and oversee project execution in a regulated pharma environment.

You will drive safety, quality and continuous improvement, mentor junior engineers and ensure GMP compliance while coordinating cross-functional teams through concept to validation and implementation.

Qualifications

• Background in engineering, preferably mechanical, process, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and equipment tech.
• Familiarity with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

In this role, you will lead efforts to improve manufacturing processes, optimize designs, and oversee project execution in a regulated environment. You will ensure compliance with industry standards while driving efficiency, quality, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
• Work with teams and suppliers to design and implement efficient systems.
• Oversee projects from initial concept to validation and implementation.
• Review and approve equipment designs and ensure proper installation.
• Conduct safety and technical reviews for new or upgraded equipment.
• Lead testing and validation activities for manufacturing systems.
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and quality standards.
• Analyze and resolve production issues, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
