Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a Process Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the County Waterford area. The role focuses on maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing and development operations.

The position is a 12-month contract with likely extension, operating on a 24/7 shift pattern (two days 07:00–19:00, two nights 19:00–07:00, four days off).

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical product development project life-cycle.
• A working knowledge and practical experience with aseptic manufacturing, including lyophilisation, and the design of experiments and associated statistical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and agencies to define and enhance manufacturing and development operations.
• Lead technical problem resolution and root cause analysis for all manufacturing operations, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Design and execute experimental programmes, including process development and plant trials, ensuring effective implementation.
• Act as the process lead for inspection development and assist in the implementation of capital projects.
