Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the County Waterford area. In this role you will drive continuous improvements across manufacturing and development operations, ensuring processes meet high standards and cGMP compliance.

This is an initial 12-month contract with likely extension, and the role operates on a 24/7 shift pattern (two days 07:00–19:00, two nights 19:00–07:00, followed by four days off).

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Chemical, Industrial, or equivalent Engineering discipline.
• Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical product development project life-cycle.
• Working knowledge of aseptic manufacturing, including lyophilisation, and familiarity with design of experiments and associated statistical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with external and internal customers, suppliers, and agencies to define and enhance manufacturing and development operations.
• Lead technical problem resolution and root cause analysis for all manufacturing operations, working with cross-functional teams.
• Design and execute experimental programmes, including process development and plant trials, ensuring effective implementation.
• Act as the process lead for inspection development and assist in implementing capital projects.
