Job summary

Next Generation Recruitment is seeking a Process Engineer for a high-regulation pharmaceutical site at Ballydine, Co. Tipperary.

You will drive process introductions, including product transfer, and apply Lean Six Sigma and change management to implement real improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead investigations into problems, and ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering background: Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
• Experience in regulated environments (Medical Device or Food).
• SAP experience and transition to EAM.
• Calibration experience with ProCal.
• Knowledge of electrical components and spare parts sourcing.
• Strong communication with vendors and site technicians.
• Ability to work safely in a highly regulated environment with PPE discipline.

Responsibilities

• Introduce new processes and products, including product transfer.
• Lead cross-functional investigations into problems and deviations.
• Coordinate improvements to processes, systems and behaviours.
• Lead projects, facilitate Kaizens, and coach sponsors and practitioners.
• Support manufacturing operations in compliance with quality, safety and environmental regulations.
• Identify and prioritise technical and business process improvement opportunities.

Based at a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary, you'll be at the centre of new process and product introduction - including product transfer - shaping how things get made before they even reach the line. What you'll be working on

• Introduce new processes and products, including product transfer.

• Identify and prioritise technical and business process improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate improvements to processes, systems and behaviours.

• Support manufacturing operations in compliance with quality, safety and environmental regulations.

What will make you stand out:

• A Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation background.
• Regulated industry experience - Medical Device or Food specifically - essential.
• Experience with a Maintenance Management System (the site currently uses SAP and is transitioning to EAM).
• Calibration experience (ProCal is used onsite).
• A good understanding of electrical components, including sourcing the correct spare parts.
• Strong communication skills for working with vendors and onsite technicians.
• Comfort working in a highly regulated safety environment, with correct PPE use and zero tolerance for safety violations.
