Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Senior Regulatory Privacy Lawyer to lead data protection strategy and regulatory engagement across Europe. You will partner with product, trust and safety, and government affairs to ensure compliant, scalable privacy governance for a fast-growing platform.

Based in Dublin, you will shape responses to regulator inquiries, drive GDPR compliance programs, and advise on DMA/DSA, AI Act and other evolving laws, balancing business innovation with regulatory expectations across

Qualifications

• European or UK qualified lawyer with privacy, governance and regulatory experience.
• Experience engaging with regulators, including data protection regulators preferable.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to draft documents, including legal submissions.
• Highly organised, self motivated and capable of driving forward challenging projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Subject matter expertise in privacy and data protection, regulatory enforcement, age assurance or litigation.
• Familiarity with content risk, online safety, AI, and competition concepts.
• Ability to drive large cross-functional projects to bolster GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on strategy and execution of regulatory engagement and investigations regarding data protection matters.
• Support broader digital regulatory matters relating to Digital Markets Act, Digital Services Act, AI Act and other new and upcoming digital regulations in the EU and UK, with a focus on intersections with GDPR.
• Collaborating and communicating with internal and external partners regarding a wide range of regulatory privacy matters.
• Support our privacy governance programme, policies and procedures for TikTok in Europe.
