Job summary

IFS is seeking a Senior Principal Platform Lead to own and advance the Internal Developer Platform, establishing the vision, golden paths, and developer experiences across NGA and IFS product teams. This role blends architecture with hands-on delivery and requires a track record of producing usable developer platforms at scale.

You will communicate platform strategy to non-technical stakeholders and ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and adoptable.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or developer-tooling engineering
• Hands-on experience owning an Internal Developer Platform end-to-end
• Experience shipping production-grade developer platforms at enterprise scale

Responsibilities

• Own the IDP vision, roadmap, and end-to-end execution
• Define platform standards to make the right way the easy way
• Lead adoption metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Mentor senior platform engineers and shape DX at IFS
• Collaborate across Kairos, Nexus, Auth, Base Tech, and product teams
