Job summary

IFS is building the next generation of AI-native enterprise software. We are hiring two Principal Platform Engineers to unify authentication and authorization across our platform and own production capabilities.

You should be a hands-on engineer who writes code and automates by default, with experience in Kubernetes, platform tooling and IAM. You will design, build and operate shared services used by product teams at scale, enabling secure, self‑service workflows across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience building and operating platforms or shared infrastructure.
• Strong coding and scripting skills applied to infrastructure, automation, deployment tooling or integrations.
• Experience automating provisioning, configuration, deployment and operational tasks through version-controlled, repeatable workflows.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and containers in a software delivery environment.
• Practical understanding of authentication and access control within software applications and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate platform services, APIs and automation, own them in production, and establish patterns that product teams can adopt.
• Create self-service workflows for provisioning, testing, delivery and recovery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure authentication and authorization across services.
• Contribute to tooling and services, including those written in Go, and improve platform reliability.
