Job summary

StepStone Group, a global private markets specialist, seeks a Senior Associate to support portfolio analytics, reporting, and data management for private debt and multi-asset client portfolios. The role requires strong data handling, performance reporting, and cross-team collaboration to deliver timely insights.

The candidate will drive reporting improvements, manage data quality, and contribute to the expansion of the data universe, with emphasis on scalable processes and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in private markets, asset management or investment reporting.
• Strong knowledge of private debt and private markets reporting structures.
• Experience with large financial datasets and data reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver private debt portfolio reporting for institutional clients.
• Own the day-to-day reporting cycle for client portfolios with accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze portfolio performance, cash flows, and other private markets metrics.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies across internal and external sources.
• Support enhancement of analytics, methodologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Investment, Research, Fund Accounting and Investor Relations teams.
• Support automation initiatives and visualization tooling.
