The Senior Associate will support portfolio analytics, reporting and data management for private debt and multi-asset client portfolios, coordinating with Investment, Fund Accounting, Research and Investor Relations teams to deliver accurate, timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in private markets or investment reporting.
• Strong knowledge of private debt and private markets; cash flows and performance reporting.
• Experience with large financial datasets and data reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel and Office; Power BI experience is an asset.
• Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce, review and deliver private debt portfolio reporting for institutional clients.
• Own the day-to-day execution of the reporting cycle for assigned client portfolios, ensuring accuracy.
• Analyze portfolio performance, cash flows, and exposures.
• Investigate data discrepancies across internal and external data sources.
• Continuously monitor and improve data quality across portfolios and reporting outputs.
• Support the development and enhancement of portfolio analytics and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with Investment, Research, Fund Accounting and Investor Relations teams to ensure accurate interpretation of portfolio information.
• Support reporting automation initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of StepStone's private markets data universe.
• Provide training to Analysts and Associates and support their professional development.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting capabilities, scalability and efficiency.
