Job summary

Designer Group is seeking a Senior Planner with Primavera P6 experience to take ownership of programmes from development through delivery. You will work at the heart of project delivery, coordinating with Project Managers, Commercial teams and site leadership to keep plans aligned with real site progress.

The role requires hands-on sequencing, on-site awareness, and the ability to challenge schedules to drive performance.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
Experience as a Planner/Scheduler within construction or M&E contracting.
Ability to interpret drawings, sequencing and construction methodology.

Responsibilities

Build and manage detailed, resource-loaded project programmes (Primavera P6).
Work closely with site and project teams to ensure programmes reflect real construction sequences.
Identify risks, delays and pressure points early, drive solutions.
Run “what-if” scenarios to assess impact of changes in methodology or sequencing.
Produce clear, accurate reporting on progress, milestones and critical path.
Support project teams with short-term planning and lookahead programmes.
Challenge assumptions and provide practical planning advice across the project lifecycle.
Monitor progress on site and align programme with actual delivery.
Support commercial and project teams with planning input for variations and claims.
