Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Senior Planner to work for a leading General Contractor on a Data Centre project in Athens, Greece. The role focuses on developing construction programs, maintaining schedules, and coordinating with the project team to ensure milestones are met.

You will lead progress meetings, manage resources, and produce performance reports using Primavera P6 or ASTA Power Project, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of planning experience in data centre projects.
• Experience with Mechanical & Electrical scope.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 or ASTA Power Project.
• Strong communication and meetings hosting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and controls tools.
• Lead progress/planning meetings with the project team.
• Coordinate resource requirements and timelines.
• Provide regular performance updates and variance analysis.

Senior Planner (Athens, Greece) We are currently recruiting a Senior Project Planner to work for a leading General Contractor on a Data Centre project in Athens, Greece. Our client has projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK and work across many sectors including Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centres.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning and scheduling using Primavera P6 or ASTA Power Project.
• Developing Pre-Construction, Construction and Commissioning Programs as part of the project team.
• Responsible for development and management of project schedules and project controls tools.
• Representing the company and hosting Progress/Planning meetings/workshops.
• Establish project schedule resource requirements.
• Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals.
• Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.

Requirements

• A relevant third level degree or M&E trade qualification.
• 6+ years experience in a similar role specifically on data center projects.
• Experience with Mechanical & Electrical scope of works with excellent technical knowledge.
• Experience leading projects from a project controls perspective.
• IT Skills Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
