Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading data centre delivery business. You will own planning activities from pre-construction through to construction and commissioning, coordinating with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on programme.

The ideal candidate has a strong construction planning background, proficient in Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject, BIM, and a proven ability to lead teams and manage complex schedules on large-scale

Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 5+ years' relevant construction planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
• Experience with BIM and digital construction processes.
• Experience working on large-scale, complex construction projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, autonomous and results-driven approach.
• The ability to lead teams and build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop bid programmes to support tender submissions.
• Develop, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes.
• Manage project schedules across pre-construction, construction and commissioning.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and opportunities, and drive proactive solutions.
• Prepare and present progress reviews to senior management.
• Act as the Planning representative at client and subcontractor meetings.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure programmes remain accurate and achievable.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of planners and engineers.
• Take ownership of planning requirements across your project portfolio.
• Support client relationship management and wider business development activities.

Senior Planner | Data Centre Construction

V7 Recruitment are working with a leading data centre delivery specialist to recruit an experienced Senior Planner to join their growing team in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner with strong construction experience to work on large-scale, technically complex data centre projects, supporting delivery from pre-construction through to construction and commissioning.

You will take ownership of project planning activities, work closely with clients and subcontractors, and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

About You
