Job summary

Dornan Engineering Group invites applications for a Senior Piping Engineer to join our Cork-based team. You will support projects from design through to on-site installation across Ireland, the UK and Europe, delivering piping stress analysis and model development alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of piping experience, strong Caesar II skills, and a solid grounding in ASME B31.1/B31.3; EN 13480 knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant piping engineering experience.
• Strong piping stress analysis experience.
• Proficient in Caesar II or equivalent piping analysis software.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3; EN 13480 desirable.
• Experience with pipe support design and equipment nozzle load assessment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commercially aware with a focus on safety, quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supporting projects from design through to on-site installation.

Dornan Engineering Group is a leading international engineering contractor delivering high-value projects across Europe, UK & Ireland. Based in our Cork Head Office, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Engineering Team as a Senior Piping Engineer, supporting the delivery of our projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Your day will include:

• Supporting projects from design through to on-site installation.

About You

• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.1/B31.3; EN 13480 desirable.
• Experience with pipe support design and equipment nozzle load assessment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Commercially aware with a strong focus on safety, quality and delivery.
• Able to take ownership, prioritise workload and provide technical leadership.
