Job summary

Allied Health/Nursing seeks a Senior Physiotherapist–MSK for outpatient rehabilitation. You will assess, diagnose and develop individualized MSK plans to restore function, improve mobility, reduce falls risk and manage pain for adults.

Responsibilities include post-operative recovery programmes, gait and balance training, education of residents and staff on safe mobility, and CORU-compliant documentation and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy and CORU registration.
• 3+ years of physiotherapy experience post-qualification.
• MSK outpatient experience; geriatrics or acute care exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans for adults.
• Deliver rehabilitation programmes focusing on post-operative recovery, fall prevention, balance and mobility training.
• Conduct mobility assessments and prescribe walking aids; monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Maintain CORU HIQA-compliant documentation and participate in discharge planning.
• Educate residents, families and care staff on home exercises and safe mobility.
• Promote independence and self-management throughout rehabilitation.

RequirementsofSenior Physiotherapist–Rehab

• BScorMScinPhysiotherapy.
• CORUregistration
• 3+ year Physiotherapy experience post qualification.
• MSK expereince in an outpatient department.
• Experienceingeriatricrehabilitation,communitycare,oracutehospitalsetting.
• Strongknowledgeoffallspreventionandmobilityrehabilitation.
