Job summary

Allied Health/Nursing is currently seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join a Primary Care Team in North Dublin. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to adults in a community setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive assessments, managing a diverse caseload, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Job description

We are currently recruiting a Senior Physiotherapist to join a Primary Care Team based in North Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a community setting, delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to adults with a wide range of clinical needs.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting service users to improve function, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Physiotherapist:
  • Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessment and treatment within a primary care setting
  • Manage a varied caseload including musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and chronic condition presentations
  • Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Support service users with rehabilitation, mobility, and functional independence
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, occupational therapists, nurses, and other allied health professionals
  • Participate in discharge planning and community follow-up
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards
Requirements for the Senior Physiotherapist:
  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • CORU registration
  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience working in primary care, community, or adult services
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
  • Experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy
  • Experience in community or domiciliary settings
  • Experience delivering group rehabilitation programmes
