Job summary

St. Michael’s House is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the adult services team in Ballymun / Coolock and surrounding areas. The role involves delivering community-based physiotherapy to adults with intellectual disabilities as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have CORU registration, at least 3 years of physiotherapy experience, and a commitment to professional development. Salary is €65,197 to €76,767 per year, with a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Be fully registered on the Physiotherapy Register maintained by CORU.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a physiotherapist, including adult intellectual disability services or equivalent.
• Demonstrate commitment to CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and time management skills; able to work self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Join the adult services physiotherapy team within community settings.
• Provide physiotherapy interventions to adults with intellectual disabilities in collaboration with clinical MDT.
• Supervise under the Physiotherapy Manager and contribute to quality service delivery.
