Job summary

St. Michael’s House seeks a proactive Senior Occupational Therapist (Adult Services) for a 17.5 hour per week, permanent role based in Dublin. The post may involve service delivery across Adult Services with supervision provided by the Occupational Therapy Manager.

Applicants should hold CORU registration and have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification OT experience. Salary scales align with HSE pay bands, with pro rata figures stated.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree/Masters in Occupational Therapy from a 3rd level institution.
• CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist, including adult intellectual disability or equivalent.
• Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) relevant to the post.
• Experience with 24-hour postural management needs with a seating/postural management course.
• Experience in sensory processing approaches with relevant training.
• Experience and understanding of dementia care and related OT supports.
• Willing to travel for work with a full clean driving licence and use of a car.
