Job summary

St Michaels House in Dublin is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join our community-based Adult Services team in Ballymun / Coolock and surrounding areas. The role focuses on delivering physiotherapy interventions to adults with intellectual disabilities as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will work under the Physiotherapy Manager, contribute to high-quality, person-centred care across settings, and support CPD and professional development while promoting independence and well-being for

Qualifications

• Registered with the CORU Physiotherapy Register.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a physiotherapist, including adult intellectual disability services or equivalent.
• Interest in working with adults and ageing populations with disabilities.
• Commitment to delivering quality, person-centred, community-based services.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, innovation and time management skills; ability to work independently.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy interventions to adults with intellectual disabilities in community and clinical settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with clinical MDT and frontline colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality services.
• Supervision will be provided through the Physiotherapy Manager.
