We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to provide cover at St. Brendan's Community Nursing Unit, Loughrea, Co. Galway. The role is based in a short-stay rehabilitation unit, supporting older adults returning home from hospital and maximising independence.

Responsibilities include assessments, MDT collaboration, falls prevention, and facilitating safe discharges. CORU registration and senior-grade experience are essential for this cover position.

Senior Physiotherapist (CORU Registered) - Rehabilitation Services

Location: St. Brendan's Community Nursing Unit, Loughrea, Co. Galway

Hours: Approx. 20-25 hours per week (cover position)

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to provide cover within St. Brendan's Community Nursing Unit, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

This role is based within a short-stay rehabilitation unit supporting older adults transitioning from acute hospital settings back to their homes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maximising patient independence, supporting rehabilitation goals, and facilitating safe and effective discharges.

The post falls under Roscommon & East Galway Physiotherapy Services for Networks 7, 8 & 9, encompassing a broad range of services including:

• Primary Care Services
• Community Nursing Unit (CNU) Services
• Community Intervention Team (CIT)
• Chronic Disease Services
• Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT)
• Urology Physiotherapy Services
• ICPOP Services (Networks 8 & 9)

Key Responsibilities
