Job summary

Zurich Insurance Europe AG, Ireland Branch, is seeking a Senior Personal Product Underwriter with a primary focus on Personal Motor and Light Commercial Vehicles. You will collaborate with Pricing, Claims, Finance, Sales, and Brokers to ensure underwriting discipline within delegated authority, leveraging data analytics to drive portfolio performance.

The role may be full-time or part-time with flexibility discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in underwriting with a focus on motor products.
• CIP/MDI/ACII or working towards professional qualifications.
• Excellent technical insurance knowledge in Personal Motor Insurance.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Zurich products/policy wordings.
• UAL 3 Motor Minimum.

Responsibilities

• Support LOB head on all plan delivery tasks.
• Review KPIs and report trends to stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio mix to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage referrals from Underwriting operations.
• Act as PL Product lead on key business projects.
• Adhere to underwriting standards and compliance.
• Maintain underwriting records per regulatory/internal requirements.
