Job summary

Odyssey Social Care in Dublin or Kilkenny (with nationwide travel) is seeking a Senior Manager, People & Culture to lead the people strategy during a growth phase. You will drive culture, employee relations, workforce planning, and learning across a regulated social care setting.

The role requires significant senior HR leadership experience, strong knowledge of Irish employment law, stakeholder management, and a focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and ESG initiatives within a values-led organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant senior HR leadership experience in a complex, regulated or multi-site setting.
• Proven ability to lead culture, workforce planning and development initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing employee relations, governance and compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the People & Culture strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Drive workforce planning, design and people development initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, governance and HR compliance in a regulated environment.
• Ensure readiness for inspections and regulatory requirements including TUSLA/CORU.
• Oversee HR systems, reporting, people analytics and continuous improvement.
• Lead engagement, wellbeing, retention and culture programmes.
• Develop leadership capability, learning pathways and succession planning.
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion and neurodiversity accessibility.
• Support ESG and sustainability objectives through people-focused initiatives.
• Monitor and report key people metrics including retention and development.
