Job summary

Odyssey Social Care is seeking a Senior Manager, People & Culture to lead our people strategy during a period of growth. The role reports to the CEO and oversees workforce planning, employee relations, wellbeing, and compliance across Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have extensive senior HR leadership experience in regulated environments, strong knowledge of Irish employment law, and the ability to drive culture development and ESG-aligned initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant senior HR leadership experience in a regulated or multi-site environment.
• Experience leading organisational change and workforce planning initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing employee relations, governance, and compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience using people data to support organisational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the People & Culture strategy aligned with organisational goals.
• Drive workforce planning, organisational design, and people development initiatives.
• Lead employee relations, governance, and HR compliance within a regulated environment.
• Ensure readiness for inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements including TUSLA and CORU standards.
• Oversee HR systems, reporting, people analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead employee engagement, wellbeing, retention, and culture programmes.
• Develop leadership capability, learning pathways, and succession planning frameworks.
