Qualifications

• Experience as a parts advisor is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Proficient PC skills; Auto view experience is an asset.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers (retail and workshop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures exposure to full product line.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Reviews body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered align with the estimate.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock and notifies parts manager of out-of-stock items.
• Locates out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submits emergency orders if necessary.
• Notifies service advisor and customer when special ordered parts arrive.
• Maintains orderly records of repair orders, invoices and special-order parts.
• Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
• Participates in all training programs and stays current on product updates.
