Darwin Hawkins is seeking a Partner level Private Client Tax & Trusts specialist to lead and grow a dedicated advisory practice in Dublin. You will advise high-net-worth individuals and business owners on wealth transfers, succession planning and trusts, building a premier client portfolio and expanding cross-disciplinary collaborations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience advising on Capital Acquisitions Tax, Stamp Duty, trusts and related tax matters.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation relevant to wealth transfers, succession planning and private clients.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners or trustees.
• An established professional network and the ability to develop new client relationships.
• Strong technical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise on complex and sensitive client matters.
• Commercial ambition and an interest in building and leading a specialist advisory practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialist advisory on Capital Acquisitions Tax, Stamp Duty, trusts and related tax matters.
• Advise individuals, families and business owners on wealth transfers, succession planning and tax-efficient ownership structures.
• Provide specialist tax input on the establishment, administration and restructuring of trusts and estate planning arrangements.
• Develop a network of professional advisers, legal contacts and private clients to generate new advisory opportunities.
• Shape and grow a specialist tax offering, identifying opportunities for expansion within the Irish market.
• Work closely with Corporate Tax, Legal and other advisory professionals on complex transactions and client matters.
• Provide senior-level guidance on complex tax legislation and support the development of specialist expertise within the practice.
