Job summary

Medforce in Ireland seeks an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Primary Care Team in South Dublin. The role focuses on community-based assessment and intervention for adults 18+, promoting independence and quality of life.

You will work within an MDT, delivering clinic and home-based OT, guiding junior staff, and ensuring high standards of practice in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with CORU registration or eligibility.
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and care planning skills.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
• Access to a car for community/domiciliary visits.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT assessments and interventions for adults in primary care.
• Assess functional abilities and promote independence in daily living.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Recommend equipment, adaptations and strategies for safe living.
• Conduct home assessments and domiciliary visits.
• Collaborate with the MDT and other community professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and high professional standards.
• Contribute to service development and provide senior guidance.
