Job summary

Medforce seeks a Senior Occupational Therapist to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred OT for adults in Primary Care within the community. Based in Mountbellew or Ballinasloe, you will support independence and safety in daily living and may operate as Staff Grade with experience.

You will manage adult caseloads, perform functional and cognitive assessments, plan interventions, and work within a multidisciplinary team while ensuring documentation and CORU standards are met.

Qualifications

• CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with adult Primary Care or community caseloads.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport.

We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide a high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy service to adults attending Primary Care, supporting independence, safety, and participation in daily living activities within the community. This role can be based in either Mountbellew PC or Ballinasloe Health Centre, I would also consider an experienced Staff Grade.
