Job summary

Life Science Recruitment in Dublin is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Lead for a leading US-based pharmaceutical multinational. This senior, hands-on role bridges strategy with the shop floor, guiding cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable Lean Six Sigma solutions.

You will be the architect of the site’s continuous improvement culture, mentoring Green Belts and facilitating Yellow Belt training while delivering measurable value through KPIs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an Operational Excellence role in pharma.
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
• Proven ability to influence from shop floor to boardroom.
• Strong Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Kaizen expertise.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Execution: Deliver the site’s Operational Excellence roadmap in line with global goals.
• Project Leadership: Lead complex, high-impact improvement projects from conception to validation.
• Capability Building: Mentor Green Belts and train Yellow Belts to foster a CI mindset.
• Process Optimisation: Facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping to streamline workflows.
• Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure improvements deliver value.
