This senior, hands-on role bridges strategy with the shop floor, guiding cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable Lean Six Sigma solutions.

You will be the architect of the site’s continuous improvement culture, mentoring Green Belts and facilitating Yellow Belt training while delivering measurable value through KPIs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in an Operational Excellence role in pharma.
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
• Proven ability to influence from shop floor to boardroom.
• Strong Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Kaizen expertise.

• Strategy Execution: Deliver the site’s Operational Excellence roadmap in line with global goals.
• Project Leadership: Lead complex, high-impact improvement projects from conception to validation.
• Capability Building: Mentor Green Belts and train Yellow Belts to foster a CI mindset.
• Process Optimisation: Facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping to streamline workflows.

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Lead to join a leading US-based pharmaceutical multinational in Dublin. This is a senior-level individual contributor role, reporting into the Senior Leadership Team, designed for a professional who thrives on driving site-wide transformational change.

In this role, you will be the architect of the site’s continuous improvement culture. You will not only lead high-level strategy but also spend significant time on the shop floor, working alongside cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions using Lean Six Sigma tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Execution: Deliver the site’s Operational Excellence roadmap in alignment with global corporate goals.
• Project Leadership: Lead complex, high-impact improvement projects from conception through to validation.
• Capability Building: Serve as a mentor for Green Belts and facilitate training for Yellow Belts, fostering a site-wide CI mindset.
• Process Optimisation: Facilitate Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping to streamline pharmaceutical manufacturing workflows.
• Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure all improvements deliver measurable value to the business.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years in an Operational Excellence role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (Engineering, Science, or Business).
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels, from the manufacturing floor to the boardroom.
• Strong technical proficiency in DMAIC, 6S, and visual management systems.
