Job summary

Compass Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead multi-site foodservice operations on a permanent, full-time basis. You will drive commercial performance, optimize labour, manage client contracts, and oversee initiatives across the Intel contract to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will collaborate with Culinary Director and teams to implement innovative service solutions while upholding safety, quality, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years senior management experience within foodservice, hospitality, catering, facilities management, retail or related multi-site environments.
• Proven track record leading high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget and P&L responsibility.
• Experience in managing high volume, fast-paced catering & hospitality services across several outlets.
• Experience delivering change and continuous improvement programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical capability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage client and contractual relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies.
• Continuously drive innovation in food and hospitality service solutions that exceed customer requirements.
• Lead the Culinary/Operations team to provide high level project support for multi-unit operations.
• Ensure high-quality food offerings while monitoring budgets and waste control.
• Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets.
• Support the sales team to develop financially sound bids and sign off final agreements.
• Develop and implement strategies for growth and retention of Intel business segments.
• Analyse data & dashboards to improve labour management and efficiencies.
• Lead management to deliver exceptional service and achieve targets.
• Develop recruitment strategies to ensure the right people in the right places.
