Job summary

Compass Group Ireland is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a full-time basis (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime).

You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly, lead the team, manage stock and deliveries, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering memorable food experiences for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams
• Customer focused and service oriented
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Ensure front-of-house areas are clean, tidy and attractive during opening times
• Place orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels
• Check and put away all deliveries promptly and correctly
• Ensure waste is kept to a minimum during beverage production
• Lead and inspire the team to deliver superior customer service
• Cash up at the end of a late shift and complete beverage stock takes
• In the absence of the Manager, assist in weekly administration and other duties
• Be proactive, using initiative, diplomacy and discretion to solve problems
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
