Job summary

Clark Recruitment is representing a leading Irish logistics organisation seeking a Senior Operations Director to provide strategic leadership across a large-scale warehousing, distribution and transport network.

You will lead major transformation programmes, drive efficiency and automation through WMS/TMS and other operating technologies, and foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience in operations leadership roles (Director/Head of Operations).
Proven track record delivering major transformation initiatives.
Experience redesigning processes and operating models for multi-site operations.
Experience with warehouse or logistics automation projects.
Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS and operational technology.
Experience managing costs and budgets in large operations.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across multi-site warehousing, distribution and transport operations.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth objectives.
Lead significant operational transformation and change programmes.
Identify opportunities to redesign processes, workflows and operating models.
Champion automation and digital transformation across the network.
Embed Lean, Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methods.
Drive productivity, service, quality and cost performance improvements.
Build and maintain relationships with customers and senior stakeholders.
Develop operational capacity to support future growth.
