Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer in County Kildare to oversee delivery of a major industrial development for a leading international organisation. The role spans approximately 2-3 years with long-term stability on a large-scale, multi-phase project.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 7+ years’ relevant engineering or construction experience.
• Previous Resident Engineer, Site Engineer, Clerk of Works or similar experience.
• Strong site supervision and construction knowledge.
• Experience on industrial, commercial, structural or major civil projects.
• Structural steel and reinforced concrete experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the client’s representative on site
• Monitor construction quality, progress and compliance
• Oversee structural steel, reinforced concrete and associated civil works
• Carry out site inspections and maintain project records
• Review contractor submissions and technical documentation
• Liaise with contractors, design teams and project stakeholders
