Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants seeks an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee delivery of a major industrial development in County Kildare. This on-site role requires ensuring quality, progress and compliance across multi-phase works on a long-term project spanning ~23 years.

You will act as client representative, coordinate with contractors and design teams, review submissions and maintain records to support successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 7+ years relevant engineering or construction experience.
• Previous Resident Engineer, Site Engineer, Clerk of Works or similar experience.
• Strong site supervision and construction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as the client's representative on site.
• Monitor construction quality, progress and compliance.
• Oversee structural steel, reinforced concrete and related civil works.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain project records.
• Review contractor submissions and technical documentation.

A well-established engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee the delivery of a major industrial development in County Kildare. Excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale, multi-phase construction project for a leading international organisation. With a project duration of approximately 23 years, this role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a significant industrial development.

Projects:

Major multi-phase industrial development Large-scale industrial and warehouse buildings Structural steel and reinforced concrete works Associated civil infrastructure and site development works Complex construction programme delivered within an operational environment

Role:

Act as the clients representative on site Monitor construction quality, progress and compliance Oversee structural steel, reinforced concrete and associated civil works Carry out site inspections and maintain project records Review contractor submissions and technical documentation Liaise with contractors, design teams and project stakeholders

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline 7+ years relevant engineering or construction experience Previous Resident Engineer, Site Engineer, Clerk of Works or similar experience Strong site supervision and construction knowledge Experience on industrial, commercial, structural or major civil projects Structural steel and reinforced concrete experience advantageous

Salary & Benefits:

€75,000 €90,000 DOE Pension Contibution Approximately 34 days per week on site in County Kildare Full benefits package available on application
