Job summary

Integrated Control Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Automation Engineer to join our site-based team in Cork. The role focuses on hands-on automation support for a high-volume liquid processing facility, working with PLC, SCADA and S88-compliant batch systems within a multi-disciplinary environment.

You will be responsible for configuring and fault-finding PLC and SCADA systems, supporting installation and commissioning, and driving continuous improvement in batch performance and uptime.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer in an operational plant environment.
Experience with industrial control systems in a live production setting.
SCADA experience: Aveva InTouch, System Platform or FactoryTalk View.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day automation and batch system support to site operations as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Configure, program and fault-find PLC, SCADA and Batch systems.
On-site installation, commissioning and modification of control and batch systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to batch performance, uptime and repeatability.
Produce and manage technical, batch and validation documentation.
Liaise with site stakeholders, operations teams and external vendors.
