Zusammenfassung

Glan Agua seeks an Automation Engineer (onsite) to deliver PLC architecture, networks, and SCADA solutions for water-related projects in Cork. You will design, develop, and test PLC and HMI systems, work with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure delivery within time and budget constraints.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation, a related engineering degree, and strong communication skills. An on-site, full-time role with health and safety focus, based at our South Regional Office,

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in automation engineering, ideally in water/wastewater.
• Degree in Automation Engineering or related field.
• Team player with project delivery experience.
• Experience in PLC programming and communication protocols.
• Familiar with HSQE and on-site commissioning.

Aufgaben

• Design PLC architecture and networks using standard hardware.
• Develop Specifications from briefs and control philosophies.
• Build and test PLC code to a high standard.
• Develop HMI platforms for automated systems.
• Design SCADA applications for plants and modify existing systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers on projects.
• Provide technical guidance to delivery teams.
• Plan and manage tasks to meet time, cost and quality targets.
• Maintain CPD and stay updated on standards.
