Job summary

Redline Group Ltd. is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join a leading automation solutions provider in Dundalk, Ireland. You will work on designing, developing, commissioning and supporting automation control systems across multiple industries.

The role involves project delivery, customer interaction and technical leadership within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Relocation may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Requires a third-level qualification in Automation or related engineering field.
Extensive industry experience in automation, controls, manufacturing or process engineering.
Strong experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA systems and industrial software.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and documentation.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Specify, develop, install and validate automation projects within budget and schedule.
Develop automation software for bespoke machines and manufacturing systems.
Program, test, simulate, and commission PLC/HMI/SCADA systems.
Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and provide solutions.
Lead project delivery from concept through commissioning and handover.
