Job summary

Mowlam Healthcare in Leopardstown Care Centre is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to provide clinical leadership, govern daily practices, and guide staff in delivering high-quality resident care. The role requires delivery of safe, person-centred care and active participation in the centre's governance and development activities.

The ADON will work closely with the DON and the Home Manager as part of the senior management team, deputising as required, and ensuring clear communication

Qualifications

• First level registration with NMBI.
• Evidence of CPD and management experience.
• Proven track record in healthcare management.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and governance across the centre.
• Manage day-to-day clinical practices and staff rostering.
• Delegate, supervise and develop nursing staff.
• Oversee medication practices and audits.
• Collaborate with DON and Healthcare Manager as part of the senior team.
• Ensure patient safety and adhere to policies.
