Mater Private Network in Dublin Docklands is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Delivery Lead to drive execution of our cyber security roadmap across internal technology teams, strategic suppliers, and business stakeholders. This hybrid role reports to the CISO and sits at the heart of our digital transformation to strengthen patient care.

You will own security delivery, manage a backlog of risks and actions, and coordinate with IT, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely, auditable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience with at least 3 hands-on in security or infrastructure.
• Experience in: Information Security operations, Security programme delivery, IT service delivery.
• Experience bridging IT and security in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to read and understand firewall rules, policies, vulnerability reports, and vendor patch notes.
• Strong understanding of security controls and enterprise IT environments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional delivery in complex environments.

The Mater Private Network is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Delivery Lead to drive execution of our cyber security roadmap across internal technology teams, strategic suppliers, and business stakeholders. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines security knowledge, operational delivery expertise, and strong stakeholder leadership.

Based in Dublin Docklands, this hybrid role (minimum 3 days onsite) reports directly to the CISO. As Ireland’s leading private healthcare provider, Mater Private Network is investing significantly in digital transformation, creating an opportunity to shape and strengthen cyber security in an environment that supports patient care.

Experience & Skills

• 6+ years’ experience with at least 3 hands-on in security or infrastructure
• Strong demonstrated experience in at least one of:
• Information Security operations
• Security programme delivery
• IT service delivery / operations
• Extensive experience working on combined IT and security work in an enterprise environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Credible with network, systems and application teams: can read and understand (the contents and implications of) a firewall rule, an Intune or Entra policy, a vulnerability report or a vendor patch note.
• Solid understanding of security controls and enterprise IT environments
• Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional delivery in complex environments

Key Responsibilities

• Security Delivery & Execution
• Own and manage the security roadmap execution
• Drive completion of security actions across internal IT teams, Application owners and Third-party providers
• Maintain a backlog of security risks, actions, owners, and deadlines
• Verify closure of risks through technical checks, not just requesting evidence.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Act as an operational interface between security and Internal IT teams, Business stakeholders and External Service Providers (MSSP etc.)
• Hold third parties accountable to agreed SLAs and deliverables
• Escalate delivery risks in a timely and structured manner
• Operational Governance & Reporting
• Run regular security delivery forums with IT and other stakeholders
• Provide clear reporting on delivery progress and outstanding risks and issues
• Support compliance activities by ensuring evidence of execution is maintained
