Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Senior Engineer to join our Network Edge team in Cork, Ireland, to execute capacity expansion for the Orthopaedics franchise.

This role delivers engineering deliverables for large-scale manufacturing capacity projects, coordinating with DPS and site staff to ensure standardization and best-in-class practices while transferring knowledge to developing staff.

Qualifications

• Experienced knowledge of medical device manufacturing and validation.
• Minimum five years of relevant professional work experience.
• Statistical and problem-solving engineering expertise (Six Sigma, SE or A3).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of robust, fully developed orthopaedic implant manufacturing processes for Network Edge projects.
• Ensure all project activities comply with QMS procedures and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement regulatory strategies efficiently and with appropriate risk.
• Partner with Regulatory to manage filings, inspections, and registrations across sites and countries.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to coordinate and execute project plans.
• Provide technical leadership and support EHS& S policies and procedures.
• Support technical collaboration across functions.
• Lead communication processes and document project activities.
