Job summary

RECRUITERS in Dublin is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for an initial 11-month contract to support a large-scale network environment across Europe. You will deploy infrastructure, coordinate materials and site activities, provision equipment, and help transition new infrastructure into production.

The role requires strong expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, and SDN, with hands-on Linux/Windows server experience and excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience in network engineering and large-scale deployments.
• Experience with TCP/IP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, RSVP and SDN.
• Experience with Linux or Windows server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across network, systems and automation.
• Proven project management and cross-functional coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy network infrastructure for large-scale deployments.
• Coordinate materials and site activities; provisioning equipment.
• Support transition of new infrastructure into production.
• Develop implementation plans and engineering documentation.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and field engineers.
• Resolve network, systems, hardware, and automation issues.
