Job summary

AIB’s Networks, Platforms & Connectivity Services Lead is a senior role within the Enterprise Delivery unit, reporting to the Head of Technology Platforms & Architecture. You will define and evolve the organisation's Network and Connectivity Strategy, underpinning critical national financial infrastructure and enabling secure data movement across channels, cloud environments and data centres.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in network engineering and infrastructure.
• At least 5 years in senior leadership leading large technical teams.
• Experience governing managed service provider relationships.
• Proven experience designing highly resilient network architectures and automation solutions.
• Experience with SDN, Network Automation, Cloud Connectivity, AI Operations.

Responsibilities

• Shape, drive and implement the Network and Connectivity Strategy.
• Govern the Managed Network Service Provider with governance and performance accountability.
• Ensure availability, recoverability and resilience of all network services.
• Define and execute the future state architecture for enterprise connectivity.
• Lead network automation strategy using IaC and self-healing capabilities.
• Lead AI-driven Network Operations (AIOps) to improve resilience.
• Ensure services meet regulatory and cyber security requirements.
• Lead engineering excellence and set standards.
