Job summary
Allied Irish Banks is seeking a senior leader to drive Infrastructure Transformation & Platform Modernisation in a hybrid Dublin setting. You will shape multi-year strategies across cloud, on-premise and AI-enabled platforms, guiding engineering teams and stakeholders to modernise and simplify complex technology estates.
You will lead automation, observability and predictive resilience initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and resilient operations across critical services.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience in complex enterprise or regulated environments.
- Senior leadership experience with large-scale technology transformation and platform modernisation.
- Proven track record delivering AI operations, observability and automated recovery capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Shape, drive and implement the Infrastructure Transformation Strategy across cloud, on-premise and hybrid platforms.
- Lead simplification and modernisation initiatives to reduce complexity and technical debt.
- Define and execute Infrastructure Automation, IaC and policy-as-code practices.
- Develop AI Operations strategy with predictive analytics, observability and intelligent insights.
- Drive proactive resilience and risk reduction for critical services and platforms.
- Lead cross-functional transformation programmes spanning cloud adoption and platform consolidation.
