Job summary

The Panel in Dublin is seeking a Director of Network Engineering & Connectivity Solutions to own the strategy for a large, complex network estate and lead a hybrid team. The role partners with an external MSP to govern delivery and outcomes.

Ideal candidates have extensive hands-on network engineering background, senior leadership experience, and proven governance of major outsourced contracts within regulated or critical infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in network engineering and telecoms (including regulated or critical-infrastructure environments).
• 5+ years in senior leadership with real delivery accountability.
• Genuine MSP-governance experience and experience running outsourced network contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end network and connectivity strategy for the organisation and deliver it.
• Govern the key Managed Network Service Provider on performance, commercials and outcomes.
• Drive the shift to intelligent, self-healing networks: SDN, automation, Zero Trust, cloud connectivity and AIOps.
• Keep critical services secure, resilient and recoverable by design.
