Job summary

Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists Limited in Dublin is seeking a Senior MSK Physiotherapist to join our specialist clinic focusing on hypermobility, PoTS and paediatric musculoskeletal care. The role begins with a partial full-time caseload with a pathway to full-time hours.

We value holistic, evidence-based practice and mentoring; experience with hypermobility, hEDS, HSD, PoTS and paediatric cases is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
• Current CORU registration.
• Current membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP).
• Minimum 2 years' post-graduate musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Description

We are seeking a physiotherapist who is looking for a long-term full-time role. The successful candidate will initially begin with a part-time clinical caseload while we build their diary, with the expectation of progressing to full-time hours.

We appreciate that experienced clinicians may require some flexibility, and we are happy to discuss working arrangements for the right candidate.

About McGowan Physio

McGowan Physio is a specialist physiotherapy clinic based in Dublin, providing expert assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults with complex musculoskeletal conditions.

While we are internationally recognised for our work in scoliosis, a significant proportion of our caseload includes hypermobility, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), PoTS, persistent pain and complex paediatric presentations.

What We're Looking For

Due to increasing demand for our specialist services, we are looking for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our growing team.

Ideally, you will already have experience managing patients with hypermobility, hEDS, HSD, PoTS, rheumatological conditions or other complex musculoskeletal presentations.

We are particularly interested in clinicians who enjoy working with children, adolescents and young adults in a patient-centred, evidence-based environment.

However, we also welcome applications from motivated physiotherapists with a strong MSK background who are passionate about developing expertise in these areas. As a teaching clinic, we provide structured mentoring and support to help clinicians become recognised specialists.

Main Responsibilities

Must-have Qualifications

• Postgraduate training in relevant MSK or paediatric fields.
• Experience working in private practice.
• Training in a PSSE method.
