Accenture PLC in Dublin seeks a senior Microsoft Data Practice Lead / Lead Data Architect to drive growth of the Microsoft Data capability and advise clients on complex data, analytics and AI transformations. You will shape enterprise data strategies and target architectures that align with business outcomes, while leading architecture across data ingestion, lakehouse, governance and AI-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise data architecture and cloud transformation within large organisations.
• Deep expertise across Microsoft Fabric, Azure data platforms and modern cloud-native patterns.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, distributed data processing, governance and analytical architectures.
• Proven ability to define current-state assessments, target architectures and executable roadmaps.
• Experience leading complex programmes with architecture governance at scale.
• Ability to influence C-suite and senior stakeholders to align architecture with business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Shape enterprise data strategies, target architectures and transformation roadmaps.
• Advise senior clients on data foundations for advanced analytics, ML and AI.
• Lead architecture across ingestion, lakehouse, warehouse, governance and data-serving capabilities.
• Define patterns across Microsoft Fabric, Azure data services, Databricks and wider ecosystem.
• Own non-functional architecture: security, privacy, data sovereignty, resilience and cost optimization.
• Provide governance and assurance across multiple client engagements and delivery programmes.
• Chair design governance and manage architecture risk across technical workstreams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape opportunities, proposals and estimates.
