Job summary

Cognizant in Cork, Ireland, is hiring a Senior MES Recipe Author to implement System/MES recipe changes and manage day-to-day issues in the support of Electronic Batch Records and MES modules on Emerson Syncade.

You will work within a collaborative MES team at a large multinational biotech manufacturing facility, with hybrid work three days per week on client site, and build robust, well-documented configurations while ensuring GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining incident queues and resolving IT issues promptly.
• Experience implementing Change Control in line with quality standards.
• Ability to produce well-documented configuration changes and testing.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in GMP environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the incident queue in ServiceNow and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead Change Control activities in quality systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and propose changes or improvements.
• Produce well-documented configuration for MES recipes and tests.
• Generate validation documentation per site procedures and GMP guidelines.
• Work with MES team and site stakeholders to deliver know-how across functions.
