Job summary

Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior R&D Project Manager for a global medical device organisation in Ireland. You will lead a major development program, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on scope, schedule and budget.

You’ll drive design Controls, V&V, risk management and design transfer, ensuring alignment with regulatory and commercial milestones. A background in engineering or R&D with product development is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in medical device development and project leadership.
• Background in engineering or R&D with product development.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale medical device development programs through R&D, design, validation and commercialization milestones.
• Build and manage integrated project schedules, budgets, resources, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning R&D, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
• Collaborate with technical leads to maintain momentum through design development, V&V and manufacturing readiness.
• Identify risks early and drive corrective actions across the team.
• Provide clear progress updates to senior stakeholders and drive project reviews.
• Create accountability while aligning technical and business objectives.
