Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Project Manager in the medical device industry.
• Background in Engineering or medical device R&D/product development.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and taking responsibility for execution and delivery.
• Good knowledge of regulated medical device development (design controls, verification & validation, risk management, design transfer).
• Experience delivering products across multiple stages of the development lifecycle.
• Experience with complex, catheter-based, Class II or III devices is highly relevant.

Senior R&D Project Manager – Medical Devices

Take ownership of a complex medical device development programme and lead it through its next major stages towards commercialisation.

An established global medical device organisation is expanding its R&D project team and is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong engineering or product development background.

This is an opportunity to lead a significant, long-term development programme involving a large multidisciplinary team and substantial investment. You'll work closely with technical teams while taking overall responsibility for ensuring the project remains aligned on scope, schedule, resources, budget and key deliverables.

The role would particularly suit someone who has progressed from Engineering or R&D into Project Management and still enjoys working closely with the technical side of product development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead a large-scale medical device development project through key R&D, design, validation and commercialisation milestones.
