Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a Tier 1 M&E contractor delivering major data centre projects in Germany. You will oversee all on-site mechanical activities from mobilisation through commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and high-quality standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will supervise mechanical site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, manage materials and programmes, and drive QA/QC,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or in a similar site management role.
• Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC, commissioning and Health & Safety procedures.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical site activities.
• Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project delivery.
• Manage subcontractors, labour and site productivity.
• Coordinate materials, plant and short-term work programmes.
• Ensure installations are completed to drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate site records.
• Drive a strong health, safety and quality culture across site.
• Oversee QA/QC, inspections, snagging and commissioning activities.
