Job summary

GPC - Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a leading mechanical contractor delivering major data centre projects across Germany. You will work with the Project Manager and senior engineering team to support mechanical building services from installation through commissioning and handover.

On site, you will review drawings and submittals, coordinate with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams, monitor progress and quality, and assist with

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–5 years' experience in mechanical building services or construction.
• Experience on data centre, commercial, industrial or pharmaceutical projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC, piping and mechanical building services.
• Experience with BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of mechanical building services installations on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor installation quality, safety and project progress.
• Assist with procurement, RFIs, commissioning and handover documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records, quality documentation and as-built information.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications and health & safety standards.
